If we're doing the super hero thing I am totally calling dibs on the Green Lantern Corps. Oh that's right, I'm not going to lay claim to just Hal Jordan or Kyle Raynor, I'm taking the whole damn army for myself. Take THAT, whoever was going to try to say Superman!
Also, since this works as a suspiciously good segue, this past Friday I wrote up a somewhat lengthy essay on the decline of Marvel Comics over the past half decade, should anyone wish to read it. Check it out here:

Oh crap, Zach. You weren't kidding when you said it was a long essay. I got 1/2 thru. Well, a little more than 1/2 way. I didn't know you were such a comic buff. Do you like any Top Cow or Image stuff?
Haha, do you want to help me write my comic, Coin-Operated boy? I don't have much material, considering it's based on some weird, reoccuring dreams I've been having about this ninja-like robot piloted by a girl who's haunted by her dreams.
Random note: I was thinking of Alias when I was reading your essay. How they got lame, introduced Syndey's sister as a secondary Sydney character. And introduced the "Sloan clone" as the new Sloan. The couldn't come up w/ a new villian and had to do a rehash of an old one?! And instead of having Syndey find out about her mother's life, her sister is trying to discover the mystery behind her mother's death. So yah, nice essay--good points. I'll finish reading it later, k.
I think the only currently-running comic from Image that I still read is the Walking Dead (yay zombies!). I don't think I've read any Top Cow since shortly after Garth Ennis stopped writing the Darkness. I'm a big fan of writers, so Image's focus on artists over writers doesn't really do it for me.
the entire green lantern corp wasn't in the justice league. in the cartoons, only the black one is in it. :-P
