I am not so good at opening up

It has occured to me that my online writing tends to be more along the lines of writing about pop culture and politics, and not a thing about myself, which may be one reason why all my blogs up to this point have withered and died. As such, I open the floor up to the group: ask me anything about myself, and I'll tell you. What scandalous things have I been up to since college, how shockingly trained-monkeylike is my job at work, what's my favorite color, anything you ever wondered about me. I do not know how to say these things more naturally, so take what you can get.

Haha, no I did not. I fortunately had an easy out, as I hadn't slept yet since working the whole night before, and as it was then five in the evening, I was able to make a fairly quick getaway under guise of desperately needing sleep.

He did call me up a couple days later, though, to see if I was open to dating, but I told him I was sadly still all about the ladies. I'm such a heartbreaker.

You are a heartbreaker! That Mariah Carey was really singing about you this whole time! You know, it's not nice to tease :P

1. What is your favorite memory from childhood?
2. If you could go back in time, is there anything that you would change?
3. Are you ever going to leave the graveyard shift? What would you rather be doing?

Ok, I have like a bazillion but my brain is not working right now.

1. I honestly don't remember most of my childhood (no abuse, get your mind out of the gutter). Maybe enacting huge wars with all my toys in my playroom with one of my friends?
2. Just in my own life, or through history in general? In my own life, my big change would probably be not trying to get with Jasmine. Through history in general, I'd probably pay a visit to the League of Nations and warn them what'll happen if they try to make Germany shoulder the full burden of paying for the war.
3. I won't be leaving while I'm at Sony, but I hope to never have to work this shift again once I'm done. My hope is to move up around New York sometime next year and try to pursue an acting career there. Not idealistic and naive at all there, nope.

hmmm, interesting. here are my questions:

1) Do you dream in color?
2) Besides ultimate-dictator of the world, what would you WANT to be doing w/ your time?
3) What's your favorite food?
4) Who's your favorite child star?

OK, that's it for now. I'll think of more later!

1) I've remembered maybe half a dozen dreams upon awakening since middle school, and that's being rather optimistic. I think I dream in color, but it's so rare when I can recall one that I can't say for certain.

2) My ideal way of spending my life would be (so far as a career goes) acting and writing (and perhaps directing). My primary leisure time would be spent with friends, reading, watching movies, playing video games, and the normal juvenile stuff.

3) This may come as a shock, but I'm rather fond of fried chicken. Bacon is also a good one, as is crab meat, depending on what restaurant I'm at. Basically, if it got sliced out of an animal, it's all good. Or if it's 99% sugar, either or.

4) When it comes to child stars, there's really only one proper choice: the Hanson brothers. Unless you were hoping specifically for movies, in which case I'll go with Haley Joel Osment, as I don't think he's been in any major films since they dropped.

What is it with boys and their wars? Did you build forts as well?

I don't think you're being naive actually. There's nothing wrong with trying something and doing what you love. Heck, you're still young and you're not married and tied down by family. What better time to take some risks? If it works out, then awesome. If not, it's not going to be the end of the world. But at least you tried and you can't go on with your life without the "what if?" If you ever were in anything, I'd support you.

Hanson...hahahaha! Would you like to Mmmmbop them? Which one is your favorite? The young boy, the middle boy that looks like a girl, or the oldest that looks like Chelsea Clinton? I can't even tell you how obsessed one of my cousins were over them!

Hmm, maybe these questions should be the post and be open grounds for everyone else?

Oopsy, I so meant, you can go on with your life, not can't go on with your life.

While I'll leave it a mystery as to which Hanson brother is my favorite, it should be noted that they apparently released their third album a couple years ago. Everyone should immediately download "Underneath", because really, what else are you going to do with your time?

You actually keep up w/ the Hansons?! I suspect it's the middle brother that you dig--you don't seem to be a Chelsea kinda guy, but I could be totally wrong. J/k. Wow, you are such a heartbreaker!!! I bet you were sporting those white shirts, huh? That could get you into trouble. ;)

Haha, I was totally thinking the middle boy as well. Alright, I'll be honest, if I HAD to, then it'd be the middle bro for me as well. Granted he's girly looking, but at least I'll have something pretty to look at.
