Exercise regimens

As befitting a proper superhero, I have embarked on a casual exercise regiment over the past week in an affort to lose weight and look all kinds of sexy for the wedding to teach Jasmine a lesson for rejecting me, damn her. I've been trying to walk or jog at least half an hour each day (I've missed like two days of this so far since starting Saturday last week) and have been alternating between doing stomach crunches or push ups each day (sometimes both, if I'm feeling particularly saucy). I haven't dieted in combination with this, unless you count getting two slices of pizza rather than the normal three, and cutting out my daily soda, but I've always heard the exercise was the important thing anyway. However, I've been at this for a week now with no discernable change in my weight, and I am bitter. I want a pill to make me lose ten pounds or something, for I demand immediate results. I see from the other blogs that I am not alone in trying to lose some weight, so what is everyone else doing to trim the fat here?

You know a sure fire way? Uhm how about get some sort of food poisoning that leads to some bacterial stuff? All that potty issues will make you lose tons of weight. Not to mention only being on a liquid diet, that'll do the job too.

You should probably exercise and change your diet. Attack it from both angles. Or hire yourself a diet Nazi who watches your every move.

Good for you, Zachy! I can't wait to see how much sexier you've become (you alredy got the boyish charm down).

I tried the diet nazi thing. He works w/ me and slaps my hand when I try to snack. This has only led to bitterness which leads me to secretly snack to spite him. However, since I am snacking in secret, I fulfill my urge for my craving, but in a smaller and less frequent portion. It worked for a bit, until the dreaded take-out and tv dinners came into play. A quick meal just isn't as satisfying.

i'm back to doing 70 situps, 60 pushups, and 60 curls with free weights in sets of 35,30,30 a night. and apparently when i got sick, not eating solid food for a week should take about 8-10 lbs. off real quick.
