How appropriate of an entry huh?
Has anyone else started to watch that new show Heroes? I am so anticipating when they will show all the full fledged powers. With some of the characters, they only show you little peeps into their abilities and you're left guessing what exactly they can do. As of now, the cheerleader is nuts! She basically can heal any part of herself, even regenerate body parts. It's crazy. This makes her very similar to Wolverine but better, because she doesn't seem to feel any of the pains inflicted upon herself (ie: suicidal jumpings, fire, fingers being grinded off, neck being snapped so that it's facing her back, etc).
Whenever I'm asked what super hero power I'd want to have, I never can really pick one. I'm just too greedy when it comes to this! The idea of being able to heal people has always been a nice one but then a part of me wants something much cooler...

Aye, that'd be the kindest power. I'm a bit greedy...I'd kind of want to teleport to avoid all the traffic. Although the ability to read minds has also been up there on my list.
If I had to pick just one, it'd be flight, no question. There would be no greater ability than to be capable of just soaring through the air whenever I wanted to, plus the avoidance of traffic would be very nice as well (though I'd have to learn how to read roads a whole different way, but how hard can that be?).
I was thinking about the teleport before too, it'd be so cool to be able to be anywhere in a blink of an eye! Just thinking about the food and shopping, whatever I was in the mood for...baam, I'd be there!
That's actually funny that you chose flying Zach. Kevin and I were talking about the show characters and he felt that the uncoolest ones were the brothers that could fly...something about how it can't really help others and that if you fly too fast, something about you freezing? I dunno, I zoned out after a few minutes. Now my question is, cape or no cape?
No cape! Definately, no cape!!! It could get caught on a flag pole as you zipped by. If the wind blew in the wrong direction, it could hit you in the face and you could smash into a wall. Unless you had a tiny cape, but that's kinda cheesey and lame. And what would even be the point?
I'd definately like to teleport. The only part that would scare me is like what if you goofed. Like if you were 1/2 asleep and teleported into the middle of a wall and your body was still in little particles floating on either side. I have no idea if that made sense.
Oh, and if I could teleport, I definately wouldn't want to look consipated every time I did it, like the character on Heroes looks. ;)
Whenever I think of capes, I think of "The Incredibles" and all the reasons why you shouldn't have a cape!
Well if you could teleport, you'd do it rico suavely. Just somehow you just pop up all whole and normal. No little itty bitty pieces floating through time and space. No weird rearrangings where you have a nose where your eye belongs.
Ohh, snap, no you didn't just make fun of Hiro. Hahaha, he's just trying very hard to bend the time/space continuum. He amuses me greatly, he's so anime-ish. I love how they keep them speaking Japanese with the subtitles.
Cape all the way. I don't care what the Incredibles said, it's simple tradition. Besides, if I get my powers properly, you better believe I'm going full-blown Dr. Doom with my outfit: cape, green tunic, and armor. Anything less would be uncivilized.
You can rock the cape if you'd like. I'm trying to be a lil' less conspicuous...you won't catch me wearing my underwear outside of my tights. ;)
and what is wrong with wearing your underwear on the outside? i do it all the time.
i want to be like spiderman so i can shoot white sticky stuff all over the place.
seriously though, i think i would want to move stuff with my mind. no manual labor for me! plus i can move myself and so it'd sort of be like flying. or any time there's a slow grandma on the road, baam, i send the car flying through the air over the trees out of my way. ^_^
i'm sick like that. oh, i'd also stop dice at casinos, make the slot machines stop where i want them too, make people trip and fall down stairs, and change the outcomes of hockey games. (my rangers would always somehow magically win) ^_^
